Strongest Under Heaven 4: The Fourth Fate (aka S.U.H. 4) is an anime that was written, directed, and created by Akira Jotaro based off the game Strongest Under Heaven 4, which is also the sequel to Strongest Under Heaven 3: The Third Strike.

Taking place 20 years after the events of Strongest Under Heaven 3: The Third Strike, the story is now about the son of the former two protagonists, Daishi Sakurai. The story is about Daishi's life, straying from the original story of the SUH series but still staying within it by adding in events that happened in the game.

20 years has passed since Rikuo Saiga's tournament for his will; now his corporation is led by Ryo Sakurai, a former contestant to the tournaments and the runner-up to the tournament for Rikuo Saiga's will. Three years after Rikuo Saiga's passing away, Ryo was left in charge of the Strongest Under Heaven corporation since the original winner, Hinamori Raikuro, did not claim the prize; on the same year, Rikuo and Hinamori had also gotten married and gave birth to Daishi Sakurai, their son. Now 20 years after the tournament for Rikuo Saiga's will, Ryo had began a special tournament in celebration of the anniversary in honor of Rikuo Saiga; a tournament for the world with the reward of almost anything the winner desires.

Daishi Sakurai is an average boy who goes to a school for rich students in a city called Saiga City who practices the Raikuro-style Karate from his mentor, Shin Yurai. After hearing about the next Strongest Under Heaven Tournament from his friends, he had wondered why he didn't know about it even though his family owns Strongest Under Heaven Corporation and had signed up for the tournament without his father knowing, Once the tournament began, an organization named the New Laws had also entered with plans of destroying the S.U.H. Corporation.

Main ProtagonistsEdit

Daishi SakuraiEdit

The son of former protagonists, Hinamori Raikuro and Ryo Sakurai. A 16 year-old martial arts master who likes to run away from home and get into fights. Though he looks and acts like a loner, he is actually one of the most popular students in his school; he is also the strongest. He is very similar to his mother, Hinamori, in many ways during her youth; he slacks off in school, always looks for a fight, often wanders off, and excells in sports despite disliking them. He is nicknamed the Prince (王子 Ouji) because his father owns the school and renamed the city. He is voiced by Mamoru Miyano.

An agent of the S.U.H. Corporation who works undercover for the New Laws as an undercover tournament contestant. She had liked Daishi since their first meeting and had helped him through the tournament many times. She is very good at keeping secrets and acting, though she likes to show her true personality around Daishi. She is voiced by Yukari Tamura.

Main AntagonistsEdit

The former leader of the organizaion, Fake. He signed up for the Strongest Under Heaven Tournament under the alias "Tsumi" (meaning "sin" or "crime" in English), but had revealed himself in the semifinal rounds. He had returned to the S.U.H. Tournament to exact his revenge after 22 years. He is voiced by Tohru Furuya.

The ColonelEdit

The leader of the New Laws organization. A strange man in a military uniform who doesn't speak very often. He is similar to how Sin used to be before Fake was destroyed except he isn't as sadistic and he doesn't use psychic and onmyoji powers; he uses the ability to control chi and uses his control over taoism as his power. He is voiced by Show Hiyami.
