MS Saga: Another World's Story is an anime that was written, directed, and created by Akira Jotaro who also created the anime Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Fate, Mobile Suit Gundam Advent, and Rusty Sky.
The story is a fantasy sci-fi version of the Mobile Suit Gundam series, taking place in a fantasy world instead of a different century in the future. The story is about a young traveller who is a pilot of a Gundam, a legendary robot that very few mobile pilots have, and seeks for redemption for his crime of sending the world towards its destruction.
Plot[]
Wandering around the world, Noa Scytha seeks for an answer to stop the destruction of the world. By unknowingly activating the ancient mobile suit known as World Gundam when he was still a young boy, Noa had triggered the world's count down to armageddon and had accidentally destroyed his own town. Now seeking for redemption, Noa finds another ancient mobile suit early in his journey, that mobile suit unit was known as Pandora Gundam, the only mobile suit with the power to stop the world's coming end. In his journey, Noa meets a girl known as "The Maiden of Life" and had found the way to end the world's end. Together with The Maiden of Life, Dia Hikari, and Pandora Gundam, Noa had connected the two key pieces to the answer for his redemption and had continued his journey after having Dia join him. On their way to stop World Gundam from destroying the world, Noa and Dia meet interesting characters on the way and become closer to saving the world from armageddon.

Noa Scytha[]
- A 17 year-old boy who had accidentally activated World Gundam 10 years ago when he discovered it. After his town was destroyed by World Gundam, he had traveled across the world searching for redemption. After a year since he began his journey, he had discovered WDXX-Z02A Pandora Gundam, another ancient mobile suit unit with unrivalled power, and had learned to pilot it. He is a person who strongly believes in justice and hates people who do bad things in its name. Before he met Dia, he was often found knocked out near cities due to hunger or heat. In the end of the series, it was shown that he had almost died but had then disappeared after. He is voiced by Mamoru Miyano in Japanese and Liam O'Brien in English.
Dia Hikari[]
- A girl the same age as Noa who was rewarded the nickname "Maiden of Life" for healing many people that were dying and having the ability to see a person's near future. She holds a strange power in her body that makes Pandora Gundam react by glowing with a strange purple light, this power was never revealed but it was shown that Pandora Gundam becomes stronger when it glows. She thinks Noa is mysterious and can never predict what he is going to do next even with her power. After the time skip in the last episode, it was shown that she had daughter and next to her was Noa, showing that he had not die and had returned a few years before. She is voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro in Japanese and Kate Higgins in English.

WDXX-Z01A World Gundam[]
- A living mobile suit unit that was awoken by Noa during his sleep. For the last 10 years, he was charging up power to destroy the world, but had destroyed Noa's home town after his awakening to test his power after 7000 years of sleep. He is rivaled with Pandora Gundam since it is the only thing powerful enough to fight against him. He is voiced by Norio Wakamoto in Japanese and Michael McConnohie in English.
