The story is set in a fantasy world in the country of Seyrune, a country where a revolution had just occured and where the people are fed with false facts hiding the truth of the revolution. The story is about the former princess of Seyrune and her personal servant who hide from the soldiers of the new government and seek to retake the throne.

PlotEdit

In year X.E. 877, a rebellion overthrew the Kingdom of Seyrune by gathering an army by telling them that the king, Freed Vi Seyrune, was tyrannical ruler, but he actually wasn't. When the rebel army got to the city of Seiya, the people were massacred and the army protecting the city was eliminated; once the leader of the rebellion, Leing Sous, had gotten to the castle, he killed the king in front of the princess, Furi Li Seyrune, without knowing and caused her to cry out in sadness and anger. As Furi cries, a crest appears below her and a giant monster comes out; once the monster appeared, Furi is knocked out and the castle is destroyed along with many people and the trust of many civilians.

In year X.E. 880, the city of Seiya was rebuilt and renamed Sou City, named after Leing Sous for leading the rebellion against the king. Now, Sous is the new King of Seyrune and the princess is thought to be dead along with her servant, but they weren't. Princess Furi Li Seyrune and her servant, Char D'eon, were fugitives who were running away and hiding from the soldiers of the new kingdom for the last three years and still are. After running away for so long, Princess Furi had finally gained the ambition to retake her family's kingdom after seeing the cruelty of the new armies. On her journey, Furi is taught swordsmanship from Char and tries to gain the respect and acknowledgement from the former warriors of the Seyrune Kingdom.

CharactersEdit

Main ProtagonistsEdit

Furi Li SeyruneEdit

The 13 year-old Princess of Seyrune who is cursed with a power known as Rage, a power which summons a mysterious monster named Ravage through the deepness of her despair. She is a kind hearted and innocent young girl who wishes for nothing but peace, but obtains an ambition to take back her family's kingdom after seeing a father die protecting his daughter from a soldier. She later cuts her hair and becomes more boyish but still has most of her same personality. She has had a crush on Char for as long as she could remember. She has a fear of seeing death but isn't afraid to die to protect someone. She is voiced by Aya Hirano.

Char D'eonEdit

Furi's personal servant since they first met as children. He is a 17 year-old boy who is extremely devoted to Furi and will never disobey an order she ever gives. He is a master swordsman who specializes in a sword fighting style named "Réduire et Couper" (French for: "Slash and Cut"); he later teaches Furi swordplay but not his sword style. He is often chased by girls whenever he is away from Furi and shows his face, but he would often try to ignore them because of their annoyance. He is voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya.

RavageEdit

A monster that can be summoned by a phrase from the ancient language of Zazan, but the caller must be in despair; since she was sealed inside the curse Rage, only Furi is able to summon her. She takes on the form of her masters and hides as their shadows. She does not care for what happens to her masters except for when they are summoning her or when they are dying; if her master dies then she will be forced to sleep until she is summoned again. She is summoned through the phrase "Sit animam meam consumpsi petet pro me interficere gladio inimicorum irae meae!" (translated as: "Let it consume my soul to seek revenge on my behalf, become my sword and slay my enemies with rage!"). She is voiced by Aya Hirano, Romi Park, Daisuke Namikawa, and Hiroshi Kamiya; Aya Hirano also does her Furi form.

Main AntagonistEdit

Leing SousEdit

A charismatic 33 year-old man who killed the former king and took over the Seyrune Kingdom. He only took over Seyrune because he wanted power and nothing else; he did not care for the people who helped him and did everything he's ever done with the rebellion to obtain power. He lost his left arm and scarred his left eye from the appearance of Ravage. He had a search party look for Princess Furi after he found out she was still alive so he could take her power for himself. He is voiced by Keiji Fujiwara.

TriviaEdit

  • Ravage is the first character to ever have 4 voice actors play at the same time
  • Réduire et Couper is a fictional fighting style combining iaido and fencing
  • The ancient language of Zazan is actually just Latin
