Anicast is an American basic cable network dedicated to old anime episodes and ended anime series aired in the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. It was first broadcast on March 1, 2006 at 5pm EST with the first episode of Dragon Ball. Since it's launch in 2006, Anicast has not aired any original or new programming, hence why it is commercial free. The channel has became very successful since it's launch.
